Hello my name is Madalyn Willis and I will be a senior this year!  Hi, my name is Kase LeRow and I will be serving as your 2018-2019 Vice 
I have been involved in FFA since the seventh grade. I am involved President for Midway FFA. I am super excited about the opportunities
in multiple LDE and CDE teams and have shown goats and now that are presented to us this school year and am looking forward to what I
show steers for going on 4 years! I am currently serving as the think will be our most successful year yet. I am involved in livestock
Area 8 Reporter as well as the Midway FFA President! I plan on judging, ag advocacy, public speaking, and wildlife! I am extremely
going to Tarleton next year to study agricultural education. I am   passionate about the cattle industry and love to do anything show steer! I
so excited to get to serve our chapter this year and cannot wait to encourage everyone to make this year on with relentless and strive for the

Claire King           Treasurer: Zoe Tripp  

Hey! My name is Claire King and I am a Junior at Midway High School.            Hello, my name is Zoe Tripp and I’m a senior at Midway High School! Through FFA I 
In FFA, I raise lambs and compete in Extemporaneous Speaking,            have been able to participate in Agriculture Issues, speaking contests, Livestock 
Agriculture Issues, Vet Tech, and serve as the Secretary of our chapter.           Judging, and have shown sheep and goats. Outside of FFA, I participate in cross 
Outside of FFAm I am a head section leader of the flutes in band, the             country, student council, horseback riding, and photography. This is my first year 
leader of the flutes in the band, the Vice President of the Class of 2020                   serving as a Midway FFA officer and I could not be more excited for this year!

in Spanish Club and Optimist Club. Outside of school I am very         
involved in First Presbyterian Church Youth Group and I love to hike.

Austin Young Sentinel: Elizabeth Daly

Hi my name is Austin Young and this is my junior year. I got my start   I'm Elizabeth Daly, a sophomore at Midway High School. I am involved with
in FFA with showing pigs in the 7th grade and as I’ve grown in this   FFA and band. I am the sentinel for our chapter this year and participate in  
chapter I’ve picked up quite a few contest like SR Skills, Public Relations,   Skills Demonstration and Livestock. In the marching band I play the alto sax.
Tractor Tech, Ag Mechanics, Homesite, and Ag Business. This will be my   I love to be involved with school activities and church. I have an amazing

Bailey Lapierre

Hello! My name is Bailey Lapierre. I am a senior at Midway and I have been
in FFA for six years. Over the past six years, I have competed on many LDEs
and CDEs along with showing goats, rabbits, and chickens. This is my first
year being an officer and I am so excited to see what the year has in store!

I am a senior this year and am a Greenhand Officer. I joined the FFA last Hi my name is Caleb Montgomery and I'm a 9th grader. This will be my 3rd year and fell in love with it. I started off in Ag Mechanics and restored a year in Midway FFA. While I've been involved in FFA, I've showed sheep and sickle mower that won our class and division. I then joined Wildlife where competed in CDEs and LDEs. The CDE I'm involved in is Food Sciend and I was able to be successful and hope to do very well this next season. Currently, my team got 4th at state last year. Last year I did Greenhand Chapter   I am in the top 10% of my class and participate in multiple AP level classes. Conducting and my team for 4th at Area Contest. This year I am raising an This year I am applying to the Military Academy at West Point and hope to showing two sheep named Bear, a southdown, and Judge, a medium wool. be admitted for the class of 2023. In addition to FFA, I am also on the Midway This year, I hope to make Midway FFA a fun organization to be a part of!

Officer Elections


The election of officers will occur during the spring semester prior to the end of the year banquet. 

 FFA members wishing to become an officer must be in good standing with Midway ISD and be academically eligible.  An Officer must maintain enrollment in an Agriculture science class at least one semester of the school year during which they serve.

  Officers must sign and abide by an Officer Contract to maintain officer status.

Officers will be selected by 4 parts added together to get score out of 100 (High Score Pres and so on):

  • Application - 10%
  • Interview - 33%
  • Test (FFA Hisotry/Parliamentary Procedure) - 23%
  • Speech Voted on by outgoing seniors/Lonestars - 33%
